Hi everyone, just a little update on whats going on with the Cold Lake Track. The lease for the Land will be signed on Monday April 2, 2007. Then we are on our way to build a Kick-Ass Track for North/Eastern Alberta. Our goal is to build a Track that can in the future, host a Canadian National race. We plan to get the best Track builder in Canada to travel to ColdLake and build it. Chick will be the builder and he does all the tracks that the Pros race on, for the Canadian Nationals.
There is a ton of work to do this summer on our site. The first step is to clear the trees, then fence in the property. Hopefully we can have this stage completed by the end of May 2007.
Stay tuned for more news!

It’s official! We signed our 25 year lease today, as the picture shows. Now the real work begins, trying to find some local sponsor’s to help offset the cost of building a motocross track here in ColdLake!

As we are very close to building our new motocross facility we would like to offer the ADRA the opportunity to meet with us to discuss any concerns or requirements you may have.  We plan to hold races when the facility is open and will make every effort to build the track within the CMRC and ADRA guidelines.  To this end we are bringing in Tracks by Chick to design and build it as he was highly recommended by the CMRC. It is our goal to have the best motocross park possible to attract riders from all over the province to our area.  I had thought we may meet at the Swan Hills Provincial race at the end of Saturdays racing if that is suitable to you.  There is a possibility that the track may be built before that race if all goes well so if you have specific concerns that need to be discussed please feel free to call me at (780) 207-7361, otherwise we will give Chick a fairly free hand to build the track to best suit the land and give us a Pro National level track.  If you would like to come view our site you are definitely welcome to do so, and we look forward to putting Cold Lake on the map as far as motocross is concerned.

Thanks

Dan Cookson
